Overview
Designed, simulated and debugged virtualised network environments in IMUNES. Configured advanced routing infrastructures featuring OSPF area segmentation, RIP redistribution and custom IPv4/IPv6 dual-stack addressing to ensure seamless cross-network connectivity and service availability.
Why it’s interesting
This IMUNES network simulation project demonstrates practical networking expertise through the configuration and debugging of complex virtual topologies. I used both OSPF and RIP routing protocols as well as IPv4/IPv6 dual-stack addressing and service integration. I created multi-router networks whilst considering realistic constraints like bandwidth limits. This project showcased hands-on skills in network design, troubleshooting and optimisation.
Key Technical Points
- Network topology design and implementation
- OSPF and RIP routing protocols configuration
